ZC valve cover gasket?
Really? Sorry im a ZC n00b... didnt know the older tegs were DOHC. So basically before I ask 1,000 questions will most of the parts come from the 89ish teg? Like the plug wires I asked about earlier... and now the valve cover gasket?

this should answer all your questions. Half way down there's a parts list

think of the zc this way....
a 86-89 teg head with a 88-91 civic/crx bottom end (minus the pistons & rods).
that should make finding parts a little easier, but you should still use one of the pages mentioned to verify what part to use as a replacement. also check my sig.

Throttle Position Sensor, or Vacuum hoses are 9/10 times the culprit for that stuff.

the stock crx si gasket is WAY different than the ZC gasket.
as for the spark plug seals, i don't know for sure. you might as well just get the 86-89 teg gaskets as they will fit.

89 Tegs are DOHC, DOHC gaskets will not be at all the same shape as one for a SOHC. For a SOHC ZC I'd bet the 88-91 Si gasket would be the choice.

i think they are slightly different than zc valves, not positive, but i read somewhere you could make them work with slight machining.
