yes & no...they(honda)says it does not need to be done like the earlier d/b series does. now the dealer says they don't need to be done untill you can hear them!

if isn't broke don't fix it! good luck to you! m.

 

our dealership initially told my GF 50,000 mi, but I thought that we should have it done at 30,000 b/c I could hear the clatter, so I called myself & they told me 30,000. We just had ours done- $107 from teh Acura dealership

 

i have talked w/3 acura dealers (one in BC) an they all said the new motors (k20/24)dont require 15/or 30k valve adjustments... untill they make noise, is what they all(three) told me!!!
i have always followed the factory rec. but if it is not a need, then i dont want anyone touching them at all!!
ITS THE CHAIN-V-BELT .... MAN!
