Why did you angle it? I don't really like it on the wrx, not to flame you or anything. I have the STi exhaust on mine and I don't really like it either. I haven't seen one that I do like now that I think about it, something about the lines of the car.

I hope you got the full cat-back and not just the muffler... I also hope you are following proper engine break in procedure...

Aren't the mufflers on catback systems usually angled because of the mendrel bent piping (I know the Apex'i system is)? I'm guessing if he didn't buy a catback, he angled the muffler to make it look like he did.

the angel thing is from Apexi, its their N1 catback muffler style..
the HKS isnt ment to be angel. but if you like to think your HKS is an apexi muffler, then suit yourself

not a big deal, but the HKS Hiper catback systems on both of those cars have angled mufflers to reduce the number of bends in the piping.

The HKS Hiper comes angled like that... My friend has one on his DC2... Its for better exhaust flow... Less bends... It follows the Apexi N1 style, like the 5Zigen Fireball and some others... Didn't like it at first, but it grew on me... Looks more aggressive to me...

which is to redline it at everylight and change the oil after the first 800 miles.

For everyone saying its not supposed to be angled, stop spreading that because you're handing out misinformation like a plague.

A friend of mine has one on his 00 Celica GTS and it is angled.

Oh ya, nice wrx btw

Yes, it is the catback. It is supposed to angle because it reduces one of the bends in the back muffler. i think it looks bad *** like that.

btw, thanks for the replies guys.
