whats the deal with this. i just got my first OBD2 jdm b16a. up untill now i have been doin ef and eg swaps. i have gotten my ek swaps as usdm. no CKA sensor? no spool valve oil switch? its not missing, there isnt a hole there. i can handle switching the spool valve housing and switch but what the hell do i do about the CKA sensor? i have a P73 ecu as well, if i need to get another ecu, trades may be welcome. thanks in advance. FYI. the swap is a 97 dx coupe.
You're either gonna have to use a JDM ECU or run an OBD 1 P28 and a different vtec solenoid ( "spool valve" )

its not that. there is no oil switch on this housing, i have never seen this. it isnt missing it was never there. but thats the easy part. there is no CKA sensor either. thought 96+ had CKA sensors on the crank. OBD2 to OBD1 is not an option.

Honda didn't put vtec pressure switches on their motors after a certain year ( I'm not completely sure which motors didn't get them, but I know for a fact that ITR motors don't ). And I know for a fact that the JDM motors (even the 96+) don't have crank fluxuation sensors.
The JDM ecus don't looks for this. So, therefore no codes.
OBD 1 ecus don't look for the crank fluxuation sensor, but they do look for the pressure switch. So, if you choose to run that ecu, you either need a different vtec solenoid or figure out a way to jump it so that you fool the ecu.

If you intend to keep the car OBD2, the only thing you can do is swap out the
oil pump with a USDM OBD2 unit with the CKF sensor setup, and the timing cover.

that's the crANK FLUTUATION SENSOR. you can jsut buy one and plug her right up. you gonna have to take the timing cover off and install it. there shoiuld be locations already on the pump cover for it. you also are going to need a usdm oil pump pulley. with the tooth. as for the pressure sensor you can just tap the hole and screw in the sensor that's it.
