Im going to be doing this swap soon and I just wont to know what you guys were charged. This will be going in to a 96 dx coupe and will have to be wired for vtec. I cant to it my self becouse i dont have the tool to do it. Im working with a limited buget and need to know what to expect.

if you have a friend or a group of people do it...it'll be around $500 (what my friends charge for engine swaps)

if you take it to a shop...$1000-$1500

 

The tools will only cost ya a fraction of what a shop will charge; not to mention that they are reusable and the experience is invaluable. I wouldnt pay more then $1000 for a shop to do it.
