From what I know, there are barely any gains or any at all with the N-1. Not sure though. I have one and I never noticed a drop or gain in power. The only thing I think I gained was the attention from everyone hearing me come down the road . I think you would have to do some cams and stuff like that to get any gains from a intake and exhaust. When you do cams and stuff like that, you need the i/h/e to let your car breathe better. That is what I have got from this baord in the time I have been on here. There are gains, but not much is what I am trying to say.

Since it is your last mod you should see a noticeable gain.
Its not a lot, but noticeable.

Good question,

and is the Apex i 2.5 all the way through or does it too have a bottleneck?

I know the aftermarket catback system won't have any major gains "thank God I'm, a realist, Huh?" Anyways I was just curious for a good catback without any major restrictions and it being 2.5 all the way through and NOT louder than Sh*t with some good "if any" HP gains???...

To my knowledge there is no production 2.5" exhaust system.
its 60mm OD which is slightly smaller. From what I can see on the apex
there arent any bottlenecks like the tanabe, except perhaps where the piping
takes that extra bend to make the can point upward.

An APEXi N1 made 5.5whp on a bone stock Type-R in Import Tuner a year or two ago.

it was in import tuner, hence it doesnt count.

please explain. I think IT is more credible than someone posting, "i think i went faster because my butt was pinned to the seat a little harder."
