Now my question is, one is this a good setup??
And number 2 how would i wire this into my 88 SI?
Do i use my SI harness?, or the z6 harness?? OR a conversion harness?? OR what , OR is there a better way to run this setup?? Would i be better with a Z6 head?? or a y8 intake manifold? please help.....

Also a note: Don't use the P28 ECU for the Y8 head. The VTEC lobe is radically different between the Z6 and Y8 head. The P28 ECU's VTEC fuel map is not sufficient for the Y8 VTEC lobe, and the x-over point is too early at 4800 RPMS. The stock Y8 VTEC x-over is 5500 RPMS.
IMHO, if don't want to spend the money investing in a V-AFC, or learn/understand how to use ghettodyne, then go after a Z6 head. It will provide better results if you want to go with the cheaper/less hassle route.

Look into OBD-0 to OBD-1 conversion's. There are a few guys in this forum that will sell you a nice ECU conversion harness - after that, you'll just need to re-wire the distributor, and modify the injector harness (only if you wish to use OBD-1 injectors, I would stick with the stock OBD-0's).
Just ask around, and I'm sure some people will hook you up with information/links that relate to the conversion.
Good Luck!
