in my crx i had a bad ground problem like that...it was causing my running lights not to work...but behind the cluster there is part of the harness...it was being pinched between the daash and the metal frame back there...it was a red wire toucing the frame causing it to instantly blow a fuse...

also check the ground in the back...there should be a screw that wires go to in the center that grounds out the tail lights...also check and see if there are any wires behind your radio that could be causing this to happen....its the most frustrating thing tryign to find a bad ground...took me about 15 hours a messing around with wires on my car to figure out it was a small wire behindi my cluster...

i dunno check some of those things and see if that helps...if not i have a fuse box that wasnt the problem for me. Wires are a bitch...

i would say
go and look all around the harness......
whenever u see some cable going into gnd..... take it off,,, grind it to bare metal. clean it and put it back in..... u will be surprised that any baad gnd can cause problems...

also when i had my eg hatch i had a wire problem once that acted like it was my main relay. But it was the simplest thing...there was a ground attached to one of the nuts holding my fuse box in place that messed EVERYTHING UP...i mean i couldnt even turn my car over....its always something so dumb like that...

look for the obvious
