Tail lights, cluster light, clock wont work :l
1994 ej1
Kind of long story but...
My stereo wiring harness is now just bare wire with no radio
every since my radio has been taken out my cluster lights tail lights and clock have not been working ... and some times my clock flashs.
Would hardwiring a new harness in fix this problem ?
until then what can i do
PS i keep burning through 15a fuses when messing with the wires, If that relates.
HELP HT !
Il be online for a while if you have any questions about my problem..

You clearly have a shorted wire. Which specific 15A fuses are blowing? For reference, see the fuse box diagrams in the FAQs sticky.

as said tape up the bare wires. anytime they hit metal they're shorting out.
it'd probably help to get a new radio in there. also take the negative off the battery before you start anything electric.
i know i had an open wires that kept hitting something metal and would blow that fuse.
but my lights still worked. checked for any other blown fuses?
