Maybe this is a tab bit over the "sleeper" look I'd like my car to be, but what are the disadvantages of leaving the stock catback exhaust on a F/I car besides the horsepower loss?

THe power loss is amazing when it comes to the stock exhaust system.

If you want the "somewhat sleeper" look go with the Apexi WS cat-back. Painted black those things are very sleeper.

 

Or you can do a cutout like Cheezfrog (sp?) did.

Also, sound wise is it still loud to have a car (F/I) with a straight pipe and just a stock cat at the end, or does it sound the same as stock?
