ok well lets first start with...
1. i just got my f22-a4 taken out due to some probs i was having with it, some guy i got to work on my car put an f22-a6. my question is... if there any real difference between these two engines? theres a sligh difference in appearance but i want to know if theres any HP or tq difference or anything i should know.

2. Second... since the swap my engine light has been on, now is that normal when u get a swap? if not, got any idea on whats wrong? and uh, how would i turn it off?
3. Last, now when i floor the gas pedal, it doesnt act like it, normally there would be a downshift or some big boost in speed, but now it just continues to accelerate normally. i would appreciate it if someone who actually knows the answers to all my questions took time to answer as much as possible. thanx. dont mind the newbiness

 

I know that there is no big difference between the two engines, but all I can say about the CEL is to take it and have it "pulled"

 

call me a newb cause i dont know what a CEL and i dont know what you mean by having it "pulled' lol like i said, excuse the newbiness
