post cars with only one race seat sparco/momo/recaro/etc and a stock side seat. .. im thinking if i should just get one. .or go all out and get one for the passenger side too

 

lol just take a seat out of ur car, and pretend that its a recaro seat

 

i think it's ghey, unless you're only tracking your car. my take on it: get two of whatever seat you're ridin in.. may be expensive, but otherwise i think it's ghetto. i'm a man of uniformity and symmetry.

I'm thinking of getting just a seat for myself.. I figure that since I don't have many passengers (many consider the ride too harsh for them.. must be cause I have my Koni's pretty stiff), I might as well save money and just get one for me.

 

the main reason im sporting one seat is cause my original driver seat is beat. if you get two matching seats i would prefer too have reclinables. two fixed position seats look kinda awkward to me.

 

yeh my 2 reclinable corbeaus r for sale rye now. . .i just wanna get a nonreclinable one and put back in the stock passenger seat

they are the cr1's and yes they are black and basically new. . .but id rather sell both then just one

 

the point of a non reclining bucket seat is too hold the driver in. not just for safety reasons but when you are "wearing" the car with a good bucket and a harness, you can feel so much **** that the car is doing. concentrate on going faster instead of bracing yourself to the door with your knee. .

i have friends with two non reclining buckets but its not really my taste. at autox im usually the only one in my car so therefore i only need one seat. 2 harness is a different story. lots of instructors actually prefer to be in the same seating as you at some track days. and plus, my gf doesnt need to sit in a bucket.lol.

i dont mind 2 folding seats tho.

it no way is that the same...if you had 3 wheels you couldn't drive your car, if you have 1 seat you can drive it and be comfy. Who cares, i think have 2 is dope but for me i will probably just get one...why the hell do you need a "racing seat" for driving to the store with a friend in the car...you only need them when you race...and me i take out everything when i race so it would benefit me...thats my .02

if you care about appearance just get one non reclinable for driver and a matching reclinable for passenger, and gut that backseat.

I plan on getting just one fixed back seat and leaving my delsol seat in for the passenger.

if ur racing then u shouldnt have someone in the passenger. simple as that. 1 seat is enuff.

actually it is quite the same. you can't exactly sell 3 wheels, just like you can't really sell just the passneger seat. he's being a smart seller by not going through the headache of havignn to get rid of the seats twice.
