EDIT Sorry for the title, its supposed to be Y8 cam vs. Z6 cam
How much more aggressive is the D16Y8 cam than the D16Z6 cam? I am doing a mini-me and i have access to both for free, although the Z6 cam is already in the head. Is it worth the time to rip apart the head and put in the Y8 cam, or just leave the Z6 cam in there?

I'm pretty sure they are basically the same, if anything the Y8 cam is slightly more aggressive. I can tell you that if you install a Z6 cam into a Y8 engine you need to advance it about 5 degrees for it to be at a relative zero location (valve timing is just slightly different between the 2).
The Y8 is a slightly more aggressive cam, might as well use that. Check this site out it has comparisons. It lists that Crower and Crane show different specs for the stock Y8 cam. Which one is correct???
