Default ITR insurance just went down for me!

hey i just recived my renewal for my insurance and it dropped a lot. I used to pay 350/ month with a 1000 dollar deductable, long term and safe driver discounts, no points or claims. Then i got my good student discount back from college and that dropped me to 280/month. Now im turning 21 and it dropped to $180 month. Finally i have a reasonable payment.

Just thought id share the good news

i'm 19...payments of 235 a month. Clean record with student and driver's ed discounts. When i turn 20, it drops to 225 a month. 21 = 168 a month, 24 = 85 a month.

Glad to hear it!

I pay $94 a month with $250 deductible and thought that was high compared to some on the board.

Goodfella, in a previous thread I had suggested you try State Farm in DE; did you ever get a quote from them? I pay just over $100/month, but then I'm an old fart who also usually drives like one!

State Farm in DE requires either you be 25, 21 and married, or your parents/guardians have their policies held with them. Otherwise, you won't get a regular quote from them.

Although, you can press them - they will automatically book you under some DE Insurance Company through State Farm, for outrageous rates.

..on that note, too.. I have All-State.

Between my R, the EVO and the Mountaineer... and my bike, I pay ~250/month for full coverage on all 4.

FWIW I pay $150/month, full coverage w/ $1000 deductables. I'm 23, with zero accidents.
This is through State Farm, they are WAY cheaper then other places I've ever checked with.

76$ a month, full coverage. More cars than drivers discount rocks. Jeep beater DD keeps the R in the garage now.

Maybe that's high compared to someone like George, but then again he does receive the over 60 years old discount...

Why? Some people pay outrageous amounts for insurance, some don't. Some don't shop around to find the best price, some have really shitty driving records, etc.

I pay less than half of what I used to pay by just finding a different insurance company. I went from 1300/6 months to 550/6 months just by looking around. My insurance has gone down every year and my $7500 repair bill for my accident did not affect my insurance one bit.

Then again, depending on age, where the car is parked, etc, rates may be a problem.

he he, screw joo all.

$300/year ($1000 collision deductible, $0 comprehensive deductible). Gotta love good student discount, multi-car discount, multi-policy discount.

yay for me :-)
