ok heres the story....

my friend put a 1st gen b16 in his 92 hatch,at first the car idled erratic that was fixed....second the car wa revving at like two grand,that was fixed then i got the car running but for some reason it would only go to like what seemed 3 or 4 grand and hits what seems to be a rev limiter...i was throwing a throttle position sensor code and a crankshaft position sensor which is in the distributer so i tried a different dist but it was one for a sohc v-tec dist but it wasnt lining up so i put my old one back on then i go to crank it up and now it wont start at all it just turns over..so i went from a semi-running car to a completely non-running car....please help me before i light the car on fire!!!!!

 

Sounds like you might have your TPS sensor and MAP sensor switched, then in addition to that you need a new distributor.
