first bike questions?

Default first bike questions?

hey guys i'm planning on getting a first bike, well i want too, i have been looking at older bikes like the 93 cbr 900rr , i like the style for it being a older bike, anyone know cheap bikes that will run good, look good and are good starter bikes? i have been searching a little but i just want a bike for the summer coming and i like looking at how bikes are designed and the performance, i hope you guys can give me ideas and ideas what prices i will be looking at, and if you could give me a pic of your first bike and the price, thanks guys

start off with a 600...f2 or f3 depending on your budget.

whatever you do, dont get an fzr, i hated mine with a passion, nothin but problems

it looks like i can find f2s and f3s for good prices and they have good style, what kind of engine is in them and what power are they putting out?

F2s and F3s are great bikes. So are Yamaha YZF600s. If you're looking that old, I'd stay away from Zooks and Kawis. I had a 98 YZF600, and I have a Kawasaki now.

My brother had a 93 FZR600, not one single problem with it. It's still running around here somewhere. 20,000+ miles on it.

The 900 RR is an awesome bike, all these new kids are usually looking to improve there **** size... there is nothing wrong with an older bike. And there is nothing wrong with a yamaha

I like my FZR from a purely bike point of view. Hate the insurance I had to pay though, but that's a factor of the displacement, not the brand.
