idle way too high like 3,000, also I have to set timing after takinmg off my old distributor. How do I set the timing, was does it set to. Is there some where, where I could adjust my idle speed ,,,on throttle body????????

You should really pick up a manual for your car. Yes your can adjust your idel from the screw on the throttle body.
