Ok posting this to solve a small disagreement between friends.
2 identical Crxs 88-91 both have the same motor and everything the only difference is one has a dx tranny and the other has a si tranny which car will accelerate faster?

Well it actually depends cause if your talking about a 88 HF with the same motor as a 91 Si then the 88 HF would probably even with the DX tranny. There are a lot of veriables but if your talking technically an Si tranny SHOULD take off faster than the DX one.

I'm gonna agree, I would say the Si but the 88 model year came lighter then the others, almost 100 lbs I think so that could be a factor
