i'm looking into porting and polishing my head. is there any machine shops in the eastcoast area that does good work? i'm lookin for reliable professional work. Thanks

although I'm on the east coast in NJ, I generally use portflow to do my headwork since they have a proven track record. I have a ported GSR headin stock, which has all new components, toda valvesprings and portflow retainers and a new set of Toda spec C cams also. email me privately if you think you would be interested in this (expensive) topend. BTW, the head cc is reshaped to work with CTR pistons or Endyne rollerwaves.

thanks for the reply, but i'm trying to avoid sending out the head to cali. that's why i'm looking for a shop in the eastcoast. i know that portflow is the best, but i just don't like the idea of my head going across the country. thanks

 

there is a place in westwood NJ called R&L automotive machine co. there number is 201-358-8353 i had my fly wheel machined there a long while ago....and i know alot of pople who had engine work there.. they carge a decent amount but high quality work.....call and ask for barry
