new to the turbo threads, i went to a local shop today and was discusing a turbo setup and we talked about the greddy evo ex., (that's the only one that i want) and he said most guys that run turbo just run a straight pipe and don't run ex. is this true, if it is is your car loud?
thanks in advance

I don't, I run a 3" down pipe, 3" high flow cat from landspeed racing, and a 3" thermal cat-back. I prefer a little back pressure to make the turbo spool faster, I start boosting a 2200 RPM's.
