Default Type R throttle body can be used on H22's to increase hp, True/False

I was told that you can use a type r throttle body by spoon to be put on an H22. They said it was the same throttle body. Is this true, if then I would just buy a spoon type r throttle body.

im running a ITR throttle body on a h22 and what they told u is TRUE. bigger den the stock h22 one i compared it. the one i have is just the stock one but im pretty shure that the spoon one is bigger by like 64mm and the type R is 62mm prelude i believe is 60mm.

i felt a difference when i installed it. but jes a tad bit but nothing major. but it is a good mod to do it if u can.

Spoon TB is a jdm type r piece, with a tapered bore which goes from the stock 62mm butterfly, and tapers to 70mm at the inlet. The taper helps "force" the air in. Probably gives nice throttle response too, but if youspend $500 on that and you dont actually need a new TB, you're not spending your money wisely. On a side note, the cost of a new map or tps sensor new from honda is $250 each, so if you look at itlike that, the spoon throttle body only costs as much as new sensors.
