Well in my civic GSR I burn about 1 liter a week if I vtec all the time....
when I hit vtec there a blue/black smoke that puffs out until I shift

But only when I hit vtec!!
how bad is this? will my motor last much longer? it only has 70miles on it!

 

You have worn rings or bad valve seals. 70 miles or 70,000? If it was already re-built something wasnt done right. Get a leakdown and compression test done.

 

Sure it's normal - if there is something wrong. Get that fixed man!!

BTW - most of us from the US have no idea just how much a litre is except that we buy Coke, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper in them.

So sad - you can't get a litre of beer here

 

It is normal, but I do not know how much. According to the tech at my dealership I think 1 L every 1500KM is in spec. You sound like you are burning too much.

BTW for you Americans - GSR's take 3.8 - 4.0 L of oil.

EDIT: oh yeah, you might want to have a look at your spark plugs too.....

 

to rebuild a GSR motor properly with all the gaskets is gonna cost like 1000$

meh i guess Ill just sell the car!
