Default B18 non vtec swap questions...

My cousin just bought a b18 for 150.00 and we plan on putting it in this weekend now my question is will this engine go into his 90 crx si without a mount kit? The reason i'm asking is because I was talking to a guy at the track with the same set up and he said he used stock motor mounts only I don't know if he was talking about stock crx mounts or integra mounts. Any help is appriciated thanx.

No, you will need some sort of B-series mount kit.

You'll need a B series shift linkage, axles, and clutch cable too!

Good Point! There is a lot of little things you will run into. For example: You need B series shift linkage, but it won't bolt up to an EF. It has to be cut and welded. You will also run into wiring issues reguardless if its MPFI or not.
