This shows that the Acura Integra is stolen on average of 21 per 1000. Thats 3 times more than the second most stolen car. http://www.hemetpolice.org/Crime/aug2002.htm
Logic would hold that the GS-R gets stolen more often than the LS, and that percentage wise, the Type-R gets stolen much more that the GS-R.
So I would say the Type-R stat above would be close to 100 per 1000 gets stolen per year(10%).
500 in 97 - 10% = 450
750 in 98 + 450 - 10% = 1080
0 in 99
1500 in 2000 + 1080 - 10% = 2322
1500 in 2001 + 2322 - 10% = 3440
So out of 4,250 cars, I would say 810 have been lost to theft.
I dont know what he rate per thousand of vehicles totaled is on average. I would guess another 150-200 have been totaled. Leaving around 3,200 left.

Okay, so add 200 to the total. I've never heard of one over 1600, has anyone else? Also, I forgot to subtract 10% for 2002, and 5% for half of this year. Either way you cut it, close to 25% of NorthAmerica Type-Rs are gone.
