Default EVO vs. World Sport

I need help from you experts.

I have a '95 EX and my stock muffler is all rusted out. Time to get a new muffler!

So I have narrowed down to 2: GReddy Evolution and Apex-i WS.

A lot of Evo owners I talked to swear by their Evos, while the WS owners love their WS's...

The only thing I don't like about the Evo is the tip is HUGE, and the muffler is round. Some people I talked to said that the WS doesn't sound as agressive as the Evo. Otherwise, they are both great exhausts!

Anyway, I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about this subject. Any help will be appreciated.

The WS is definately a daily driver exhaust and does not offer the power and sound of the evo.

I am a big fan of the WS and do not like how the evo looks. How ever if you are looking for something more agressive than the evo is for you. Otherwise WS is the perfect daily driver exhaust.

i love the ws, after having a loud *** custom set-up for 3 years it is relief on my ears. as for power gain, the ws may not make as much peak power, but it will give better midrange. personally even though i have an h22 i don't drive at 6k+ rpms all the time. i'll take stronger midrange power.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I jsut want to add that price isn't an issue since they are about $40 apart. I just don't want to end up with an exhaust that would annoy me at cruise speed (like 70MPH on the freeway) and I don't want to attract attentions from the popos!

then the WS is definetly what you want.

I would say WS or DC is right for you. Both nice cruising exhausts. Can go unnoticed if you want, but presence can be heard and felt stepping on the peddle.

Seems like everyone replied so far has a WS? Where are the Evo owners? Hehe!

How does the Evo sound at cruise speed anyway?

It drones a bit on long drives / cruises.

The ws is very low key if you paint the muffler flat black

I say Tanabe Hyper Medallion because i have it and i love it. It has a deep tone but is not too loud but you do get noticed if you get into the throttle.
