Goto the Toyota website, they put a celica motor into a hatch back (Toyota Matrix). 180hp and 6 speed tranny.

 

Wow that is extremly impressive ....I thought this Type S was going to be more on the gsr platform....that is better than the majority of Type R's do stock.

 

can anyone confirm the 5500 limit when standing still that they were talking about??? in my car that's too high to launch and too low for burnout(555R).

Last weekend in Spokane at an autox a guy with a new RSX told me the same thing. Couldnt do proper launches cause it would bounce the limiter if at a standstill. Sounded weird to me, but I guess its true.

 

it better be that fast...its the GSR replacement and they've had how long to develop it? 94-01...wow, thats a long time....and for $24k it certainly should be that fast

i'll be running 13's and have a full suspension setup before I ever get close to spending the same amount on my GSR...

 

Speaking of RSX's, when is the RSX forum going to show up here at Honda-tech??? or am I blind...
