Default blue top 450 DSM injectors

I am just wondering what the difference between the bluetop and the blacktop is for the DSM injectors..if any, just seems like people go out of their way to indicate the color and I am wondering if there's any reason for that

thanks

The spray pattern for the black top (second generation T-25) was improved upon over the blue top (first generation 13G/14B)

they still flow the same 450cc/min, but the second gens have a little better spray pattern, hardly noticable either way.

Blue tops are 1g DSM injectors, and black tops are 2g DSM injectors

Get the black Tops Tony, other wise you have to switch the injector clips on your EK like I did.

yes, they fit fine with OBDI clips but my OBDII clips didn't fit the blue tops...I think the black tops fit OBDII, but get some confirmations are I'm not sure.

found the answer:
You will need the clips for that car. On anything
96 or later, Honda used a different clip that does
not fit on the DSM or any aftermarket injectors.
