Spring Choice in 1991 Civic with b16a ?!?
Hey, we just put built b16a into my 4 door, and I had Eibach Sportline springs plus Koni yellows and now the DC 4:1 header is practically touching the ground (HASport mounts), I think because this motor is heavier than the turbo d16 it replaced...
Prob. is that even with the Sportlines, I would both bang the hell out of my downpipe, and get too much squat on launch. Now I have less power (hopefully not too much less), and need a little more clearance/height but don't want any LESS spring resistance.
Any recommendations since I am scared that Prokit will give up on rates even though it is a progressive spring also? Maybe another brand???

by far the best recommedation is to get some GC coilovers or skunk2 coilovers, marginally more expensive but you can fine to the height....
I have a 91 Si b16a hybrid with the ground control purches and the integra spring rate springs, I don't have a header on mine but i have never bottomed out. Just my 2 cents

Well, the Sportlines are like a 2.5" drop ....... so that would do it!
And the DC 4-1 is designed for the B18, which is a longer block that the B16, so it sticks down lower.
Get some coilovers with a strong spring rate so you won't bounce too much, and hose the header.
Or, you should make/design a steel skid plate for the header, so you mess it up, and not the header ......
