my car has about 200,000km on it
thinking for replacing some parts due to wear&tear where should i start ?
also can you specify wich may need a machanics hand in it?

 

i'm an ignorant US citizen... so metric units beyond the usuall mm measurements of sockets is beyond me... wat is 200k km in miles?

 

~125k miles... for starters, is this a used car, or are you the original owner? Has the timing belt/water pump been replaced?

Yea, the 90k mile maintenance is the big one, so it would be good to kno what they did then and what they didnt.

-Waterpump & timing belt(if not done already)
-Inspect/Replace brake pads & rotors
-Inspect all brake lines for wear & tear
-Inspect all fuel lines
-Inspect/Replace radiator hoses
-Drain/Replace tranny fluid
-oil/filter change
-Inspect/Replace air filter
-fuel filter

Those are some that you should consider.

 

check your basic maintaince, such as spark plugs/wires, regular oil change, transmission fluids, flush radiator fluids, clutch, timing belt, water pump, fuel pump, fuel filter, clean injectors, etc.....

 

as for some of the maintenance inspections i can help you out, cuz i learned some of the inspections from auto class.
For radiator hoses, check for visible cracks and at all parts of the hoses, and if you hear a grinding, crackling noise, then you need new hoses.

yes its a used car got it like a month ago
dont know what they did but im assuming that everything on it is torn thanks everyone for the help those are the first things that im gonna check and change

 

one more thing anything besides the basic maitenance that needs replacing
