need help. car is throwin code 71. silinder 1 misfire.
thats right. What the topic says. i have ctr intake cam with p-28,skunk2 intake manifold,dc 4-2-1 header cold air intake, aem fpr,aem fuel rail, greedy evo. The car also makes a poping noise when I let off the gas. I wanna know if I have a burnt valve or something. Please pm me back.
Dunno..think the problem is your car has silinders...My car doesnt have those, I think youve been scammed.

The elusive 71-74 codes can be any number of things. Bad gas, bad ignitor in your distributor, not enough fuel pressure, too much fuel pressure, cracked injector or work o-rings on your injectors, etc, etc, etc.
Start troubleshooting - get a Helms.

hehe, mine was 2 bad valve seals......compression test looked like this: 200-200-60-200
do a compression test BEFORE you waste money on things like ignition, fuel, etc.
get a voltmeter too and test the plugs on your injectors.
