Pull the hazard fuse from the fuse box under the hood and Count to 10.
After you count to 10, Put it back in. Start the car and let me know if your codes go away.

9 is Cylinder Position Sensor, for your car (SOHC I assume) it is inside the Distributor. I was throwing this code on my ZC when my timing belt timing was off. Try checking your timing. 14 is something I forget, but I think I had that also.
well....i pulled the negative cable from the battery and im sure it reset the ecu....when the engine cranks up, it makes a whoOOoo noise on the driver side of the engine....weird....HELP its driving me nuts because i can't test the capabilities of the MPFI swap...thanks agp
Is it still throwing codes? code 14 is EACV. make sure all your wires are hooked up right. you may have to try cleaning the EACV. get some carb cleaner. Trace the two wires you had to run from the dist. to the ECU and make sure there are no breaks, and that they go to the right places.
what wire?? the dizzy wires?? i wired it straight to the ecu using one of those diagrams....pretty sure it's all correct...imma try to uninstall the dizzy and reinstall it....thing is, i didn't do the TDC stuff...maybe i should but i dont know how and how do i clean the EACV?? where is it??

really that sux....i guess i'll have to know the details...this is the one i used...
i hooked it straight to the ecu....well...except for c3 and c4

that is the one that is not correct - C1 should be blue/green - C2 should be blue/yellow - C3 should be orange/blue - C4 should be white/blue that should correct code 9 - EACV is on the back side of the intake manifold near the throttle body (has small water hoses to it) make sure it is plugged in with the correct connector - i believe one of the wires is blue/yellow
the eacv is on the back of intake manifold. It has two hose's and a sensor going into it. It's held in by two 12mm bolts. take it off, and there will be two holes in the back of it. spray them with carb cleaner. that's what I was told to do, I'm throwing the same code. i haven't done it yet, i'm working on another code. Or you could replace it. I heard it was like $11, but I don't know.
how come my car feels as if it's misfiring?? like normal driving to a certain RPM it starts jerking like i hit the rev limiter or something?? it's weird and im scared to drive the CRX now...
if you still have the code 9 you most likely have the blue and green\yellow wires mixed up, that was my problem when i finished my conversion. and the eacv should be the whit plug with the blue and black wires. after you switch the wires make sure to reset your ecu. my car runs great since i've converted it to mpfi besides the boggyness off of idle.
what distributor are you using? mine did the exact same thing your talking about. I replaced the distributor with a 91 Si distributor and everything worked great. LOOSE THE STOCK DX DISTRIBUTOR.

Did you switch out distributer plugs on the harness? If you did there are two white wires. Make sure you did not switch these. This could cause your code 9. As for your code 14, make sure you have the right sensor pluged in. To reset the ECU you need to take the positive off the battery.

You have do this anyways. You need SI or HF dizzy for the crank angle sensor (I think thats what it's called)

yea im using an Si dizzy....can't be the blue/yellow and blue/green because im SURE that it's in the correct position. i thought that removing the negative terminal on the battery would reset the ecu too...thats what i did. code 14 is already fixed since i switched the plug...it was the green plug with the blue/yellow that supposed to go there so i only have code 9 left and i dont know what the problem is...
did you try changing the blue/yellow and blue\green? i was sure mine were in the right place and i switched them anyway and it cleared up my code 9. if not you might need a new dizzy

i think that most of the diagrams on the net are wrong one way or another..
