Intake Manifold; Cant get t seal!
hey guys,
i did a complete rebuild on my f22-b1. i started the motor a week ago and i discovered my jumpy idle is to be caused by a intake manifold gasket leak! I pulled the intake back and put gold perma seal on the gasket, tightened back down and let it set for 12 hrs. i tightened the nuts in the sequence that the dealers manual said to tighened and when i removed it i did the same. today i started it up and the same leak is still there. i went to honda today and ordered the honda oem gasket and also some honda bond, which is a sealant the dealer uses, i will be trying this tom. my question is, does anyone have any tips or has anyone had these problems?
thanks,
shane

You almost have to replace that gasket everytime since it falls apart when the IM comes off.
Just need the gasket.....NO honda bond.

dealer doesent use honda bond on a intake manifold gasket ... if you continue to have problems after this you better look at the intake manifold to see if it is warped ... put a straight edge on it
