No, if you get a HID kit now you will not be able to use the bulbs in the JDM or even JDM replica housings, since the USDM bulbs are 9006, while JDM and Replica JDM housings are h4 bulbs.

So best bet is, if your for sure getting JDM style or Real Deal JDM housings just by some silverstar bulbs for the 9006 or stay with the current bulbs till you get those housings, and than buy a H4 HID kit.

Dude, you need HID that fit 9006 sockets. I have those. They are OEM Nissan, with 2 spare bulbs and one spare ballast. I can sell to you in Can$ and no customs since I live in Qc. IM me if you're interested.

Personally, I would not recomend this route, modding OEM HID Bulbs into housings is not to wise IMHO. You have to cut the base to fit the bulb in housing, when you do that you ruin the arc so the pattern is not where it should be.

It's not what I did. I dremelled the sealed beams socket and took out about 1/64" to 1/32" thick, until the unmodified bulb fit into the socket. Takes ½ an hour to do a nice clean job.
Make sure you seal the hole while grinding with dremel so that all the dust doesn't go into the sealed beam.. of course!

The thing of modifying your light socket is that later on you might want to resell the car or something... or might want to go back to stock headlights... now you've gotta watse money and buy a new headlight which isnt very good... i say stay with a HID conversion kit that fits your light socket...

No, no no. I just did exactly that. I sold my car sunday, and I took out the HID kit (that's why I'm selling it: because the TSX already has it from the factory). Then I put the 9006 back in, and it fit really well, and wasn't loose, for two reasons:

1. because the socket has three undentations so that the three "wings" on the bulb socket fit in there. Those remained as is, even though the diameter was a little enlarged.

2. beneath the wings and small plate that fit sit on the head lamp, there is a round body with a rubber band that inserts inside the socket, and it's sealed with the rubber. This wasn't modified, so it is not loose, and it remains sealed.

Don't worry dude, I know what I'm doing, I did it on a brand new set of OE sealed beams. I f I had wanted to experiment, I would have done it on the old ones before to see of it worked.
