Stocker shocks are in rosebud mode !
I did a search on this topic and could not find anything detailed on this question.. My stock shocks are dying from my coilovers 1.75" front and 1.5" back.... I plan to go the upgrade route and am pricing shocks with performance and adjustability in mind.
If you lower your ride, that will affect shock life but I have read that some shocks come with spring perches that can be adjusted to ride height. Which brands have this feature ?
I have seen something about the Koni Yellows... but no others ! I have been considering KYB just based on the price and Tokico Blues because I have ridden on then and I like.... even tho they are not adjustable....
Thanks in advance fellas...

The Koni's do have adjustable spring perches and are considered among the best, but be prepared to pay for them, over $600 for a set.
I just got the KYB AGX's not too long ago. I really like them. In fact, JC Whitney has been having this huge sale, and I picked them up at ~$270 for the whole set, with free shipping. Regular price for them usually runs ~$350. The instructions that come with them note that their warranty still applies with cars lowered up to a certian amount (not that they'd know how much you're lowered if you had a problem).
I've heard too many bad things about the Tokico's bottoming out easily, while other people have had no problems with the Tokico's at all.
Many people are really happy with the Bilstein's, too.

Just to let everyone know, if you order KYB AGX's from JC Whitney, make sure you get the right models. There's been many postings about them having the wrong model#s on the site and people getting the wrong rears.

Yes, Koni yellows have adjustable spring perches. It's not a "coil-over" type adjustability though...the spring perches are snap-rings in grooves on the shock body...you have to take the shocks out to adjust the ride height*. The front shocks have 3 height settings, the rears have 2. Firmness adjustability is very easy, you do it with a **** on the top and there are infinite firmess settings over 720 degrees of rotation.
I got mine a few months ago for $520 shipped from shox.com. Ride is awesome!
*(or you could do it with the shocks in but you'd have to compress the spring...just take them out, it's easier.)

Sooo.... are the Koni's the only brand with an adjustable perch ? I am perfectly happy with my ride height now and will stay with it in the future... I am just worried about premature shock wear due to non factory spec spring height.
They sent me the wrong ones in the rear. I got ones for an Eclipse. They did correct it and send me the correct ones though. Just waiting for them so I can rave about them (I hope)
JC Whitney also screwed up and sent me the wrong rear shocks. If you order from them, be sure the get the manufacturer's product number straight from KYB (like from their web site). JC Whitney has the wrong part numbers matched up with the wrong cars, so they don't even know it's wrong. They fixed my order, too. The worst part was the looooonnnnggg wait, because they were backordered.
