Default Unstable rear end under heavy braking.

This weekend I took my car to the track for some laps. Was great fun , and my new Bridgestone Potenza S-02 tires held up really well. However i found that under heavy braking into a corner the rear end of the car would literally dance back and forth. My dampers/springs have probably never been replaced and the car have done 230 000 km (almost 145 000 miles) , could this be the problem ? Anything else that could be causing this problem ?

it could be a combination of old suspension parts but most likely an alignment issue. you want to get the car better balanced with camber, toe, caster and it will be more stable under heavy braking. for the rear you will want 0 toe and that should help
