99 ex turbo greddy kit.
8 psi running blue box still

when i down shift and boost really hard sometimes i hear the pebble sounds, duno if its det or not.

my ecu is obd1 p28 ex. with no knock. my the knock sensor on my block is also broken before!! so is it possible that the noise i hear is knock even thou my ecu doesnt read it?

 

yes its detonation. what gas you running and intercooler? fuel pump? FMU?

turn down the boost for now or back off the ignition

 

your problem is 8psi w/ the blue box and stock ignition timming...your luckey your **** has not blown yet.

turn down the boost or get a new fuel setup.
