New Mods: VAFC & Ghetto intake. (DIY Owned!)
Here are my recent car tinkerings.
I had to try out what every one was doing with there "custom" intakes. So, I went to the local hardware store and picked up a 4" dryer hose and installed it. I don't have any final pics, but here.
Here I painted my VAFC black. I like this look because in the car it looks very stealth.
DYI oWn3d!

It just snakes under the bumper as seen in the first two pics.

I took apart the whole thing taped and sprayed it with black. Sorry I didn't take pics of the process i was in a hurry. I think there is a thread on how to do it with pictures somewhere.

I tried the dryer hose, but it seemed to really hurt throttle response, and I couldn't hear vtec kick in at all (thought it was broken...). Maybe my hose was too small? (sounds like a personal problem
) I went back to using the hard pipe that used to go into the resonator - seems to work much better, but I still gotta put it on a dyno...
