It is the piece that clip on the fog light light bulb. It helps you to take out and put back the fog light light bulb.
Is this new or used? $300 is an extremely good deal!

I am not trying to hijack your thread, but I also got a JDM front end recently and there is a dent on my hood. The underside of the dent is covered by the "reinforcment frame" and the "reinforcement frame" seems welded on the hood. So my question is the dent a easy fix? Sorry for the stupid question as I have no knowledge about body work. Thanks in advance!

its a filler. (reason i posted this is because it may help others understand why "bondoing" works.)
but with all fillers, there are certain setbacks

I certainly don't mind you post it here. The only reason I use IM is to avoid hijacking TypeR882's thread.
Do you know approximately how much does bondoing cost?
Is there any disadvantage of bondoing? If yes, what are they?
Sorry for asking so many stupid questions. The reason I ask so much is I don't want to sound like an idiot when I bring my hood to the body shop tommorrow (although I certainly sounds like an idiot now
). Thanks!

my friend works at body shop he does not like to bondo parts that u slam arround alot... cuz hood if u slam it alot the bondo might start to loose and u will see cracks or somehitng ... but he does do the doors maybe cuz he is too cheap to get a new door(cf hoods he gets cheap) and it dont have too much vibrations...

you can't be serious.
Bondo is fine on any properly prepared surface as long as it's not thick. that dent over the reinforcement can be popped in most cases.
