maybe it is canadian
I'd be amazed if they sell it for that...
I seriously doubt they really want that much. At autotrader dealers sometimes jack up prices so their car will be the first one you see when you do a search by price in descending order. That car is worth 18k tops.
The car actually has several extras in it... I saw it last week while vacationing in Seattle. If I remember correctly,
1. JR S/C
2. CF Hood
3. I/E
4. V-AFC
5. Some kind of drop
6. I can't remember but I think it had after market rims and tires.
It is by far not a stock car as they stated in the ad. Still, $26k for a 50k mile car is a bit much.

I think I've seen this car, since I just bought my GS-R from Acura of Lynnwood. I didn't see under the hood but it does have a CF hood, some kind of N1-style exhaust, springs (too low imo), and SSR Integrals.
Oh yeah, and I'm pretty sure it had Altezza taillights

i thought doing modifications to your vehicle technicall brings down the resale value. that is pretty damn high though, even though alot of money was invested into it. But consider this, the driver who owned it probably drove the **** out of it. I was gonna get a type R....dealer wanted 28,900(brand new) for one though....couldn't afford it, so i got me a NBP GSR for 21k.
It only brings down the resale value when you sell it to a dealer or trade it in. But if your just selling to the public you can put whatever price you want on the car and if someone deems it worth it they will buy it.
I think there just trying to get there money out of it with all the extras. If it's a dealership selling it I can tell you the guy probably got about 15 grand or so for the car depending on the miles on it and the condition of the car.
But the car is a collectors item. The 97 and 98's more so since they stop making the colour and they quite abit less ITR's back then and AC was optional back then. So presumming out of the limited # of 97-98 ITR out there that are not damaged, wrecked, racing or riced out beyond belief there is probably not many 97-98 ITR's around.
There was 97 ITR with 20K+ miles on it here and it sold in Autotrader for $26,000. He had a few mod's on it but had all the orignal parts as well. I can't think what the serial # it was.
