how could this happen to my headlights
I went out this morning and my headlights (the clear housing) was all melted in. Its a bubbly milky white color. I was driving hom elast night using my headlights and they seemd to be working fine. Any ideas? Do you think they are covered by warrenty?

Yeah sounds like someone took a blow torch to that thing.

If you swapped out the stock bulbs for higher wattage aftermarkets, it wont be covered.
Without photos or a better description than "bubbly" and "milky white", there's not much more that can be said.

heh have any enemies that don't like u and took a lighter to them?
Well with that aside, yea high wattage bulbs that the lens coudln't handle could have melted them or maybe you replaced the stock ones and touched the bulb by accident, but i remember if you touch a bulb the bulb itself would blow
i could be wrong, pics would help alot

That is unheard of. I believe the projector housing is made of very high temp plastic. You'd have to put some serious heat to that thing to melt it. Prolly an actual flame.
I seriously doubt the heat from an actual bulb could deform the housing. However it could distort the color of it from within the inside. So that's prolly what you are looking at. (if it's not physically deformed)
If he touched the bulbs by acident. They'd explode after a while. Grease from the fingers heats up and will cause the bulb to explode after a short time.

well the clear lense is acutally deformed in shape. They are white is in different spots, it looks like what happends when u burn plastic. I cant imagine how this could happen. I will try and get some pics up for you all to see.
i havnt touched the bulbs or replaced them since i got the car. the bulbs still work, which is the problem. the reflective housing inside looks fine, its just the clear lense.

First off, remove the bulbs and see if they are stock or OEM replacements, not those high wattage POS. Secondly, is the housing melted only on the clear plastic? Look around at the grey plastic as well as the reflectors.

sounds like vadalism to me.
There is just no possible way bulbs can produce that kind of heat.
