Default clutch install estimate

how much would it cost to get a clutch installed by a shop? roughly

Just a guess on my part:
Usually clutches are quoted as 4 hour jobs. And the average labor rate is $60/hour. So that comes to ~$240.

yeah labor is from 200-400 dollars and clutch parts range from 150-550 depends on which kinda clutch you go with , and another 30-40 dollars to have the flywheel resurfaced

I usually charge $200-$250 depending on the car. I do it with my buddy in about an hour too.

I am in NJ, I can do yours if you want.

normally it's about 250 labor plus another 200+ for parts
when my clutch went out i got some really cheep auto zone clutch for about 180 and i had a friend of mine that has a shop put it in for me for like 100 bucks

autozone clutch most the time you want to get oem parts are good high quality japense or aftermarket clutch ,hopefully its working good for u

yea they run around the area of 200-300 for labor and 200-500 for clutch depending which kind you get

Just make sure you trust the shop with the clutch install, i don't mind paying alot if the shop or people that are doing the job is gonna do a good job for sure

I just had a Honda oem clutch installed, i didn't have the time to installt he clutch myself with a friend since it's finals week =-(

from a shop 175-300

from a guy doing side jobs i wouldnt pay anymore then 200 and i would expect to pay around 100-150 to be honest.. but then its all who you know also

I'd pay that any day.

Guy I know changed his for the first time. He was so dirty when he got done I think his g/f made him burn his clothes. lol So I'm really looking forward to this one.
