How long to wait after suspension install before alignment?

How long to wait after suspension install before alignment?
As some of you may know I just installed AGXs and H&R OEs 
. Just a quick question, I know your supposed to do an alignment anytime u install new springs/shocks, but my buddy said I should wait a couple weeks for the springs to settle before i do an alignment, how long is this usually?

It usually doesn't take that long. I'd give it a week or so. Best thing to do is hit a couple of speed bumps, that usually settles it quicker.
