david told me that the jdm itr lip from a jdm front end will bolt straight up to 94-97 usdm bumper, he said he saw a post on here awhile back, can anyone comfirm this? i tryed doing a search but the words "lip" "jdm" and "itr" and all 3 letter words

 

I remember this being discussed in the past as well. I dont know for sure though....if I remember right, there is a bit of modification involved.

Someone want to chime in who knows for sure?

 

i think it could be done w/ a little modification. ive seen the lip put on a nissan altima before.

I'm not sure about the JDM ITR lip... but if your looking for a lip to put on your 94-97, the JDM integra SiR lip fits perfect and looks the exact same as the usdm ITR front lip. Check out passwordjdm.com, they had some for sale not too long ago.

 

It will fit with modification.

uhh.... no it doesnt, i have the sir-g lip and it's not like the itr lip's.

i've test fitted it on my friend's integra. you have to shave a bit off the back where it bolts up. but seeing as it costs $350 new, you'd be better off buying the comptech lip for $2xx.xx and no modification involved.

Sorry if I'm spreading misinformation... I have a friendthat has what he said to be that SiR lip and it looks exactly like the ITR one. It must be the comptech or another replica.

iono, maybe a sir lip does look like a itr lip, mines an sir-g lip, maybe they're different, i'm not a "lip" expert so i wouldn't know either.

 

Nah, youre right...the Sir/SirG lip is as pictured. Comptech/ITR are the same, and dont share their likeness with any JDM lips at all, as far as I know. If someone knows different, spill it...thats just one more way we can score "97R lips"

Ive seen JDM R lips go for cheap...under $100. If you found one and it fit and looked good or even a bit different than the Comptech lip, that'd be unique and a cool find.
