Default ES oval on CRX

i've been thinking about getting a new exhaust/muffler for a different sound, and i love the sound of the ES oval. but i think that fitment would be the only problem i would encounter. my friend reccomended that i just take off the muffler i have now and replace it with the es oval, then maybe extend a little tip off, so it exits out the rear of the car, so its not shooting exhaust gas towards the wheel. OR i could mount it like it should be, but the piping would be a little difficult to route. any suggestions on mounting the es oval on a crx? any pics/tips are MUCH appreciated.
thanks for anything guys!

we've made a couple exhaust with esoval mufflers, and with 2.5 inch piping, combined with a resonator, they sound amazing. with just the esoval and a high flow cat(2.5 inch) they sound like total ***...really bee like.....but i'm sure it flows like none other.....but we'll be adding a resonator to that car shorty, i assure you. he just needs to buy it. it should fit in place of the factory muffler on a crx fairly well.
