Default tire Problem, is this a big problem?

Hi, I drove my car back to SEARS to ask them to look at the "bubble" on the outter side of my sp5000 tires. They took the tire off the wheel and found a mark(looks like when you fold a piece of paper in half and and open it up, and there's a line on the paper) of 1" long and I need to buy a new one if I want to replace it. I didn't have road hazzard warranty.
BUT when They put the tire back on the wheel, the REVERSED the tire, now the bubble is on the INNERside of the wheel, I just noticed that. would there be a big problem in handling..? I will only have that on my car for a wheel until the new one comes in.

I am ordering a new sp5000 205/50/z15 today online.

Any good websites(online stores) to order at a reasonable price?

why order online if you have a Discount Tire in your area?

Price should be the same, they'll put it on, and you're set. You have the option to buy replacement guarantees with Discount as well, and the guarantee is much better than at any other tire place.

Btw, the tire mounted in reverse shouldn't hurt, but isn't right either. Dunlop Sport SP-5000's in the 205/50/15 size are asymmetrical and should only go on one way.

If you have the tire mounted in the reverse direction after you have drove on it the other way, you run the chance of the steel belts seperating in the tire. Once that happens the tire will start to make a thumping noise. This will happens with any steel belted tire.
