ok i recently noticed this new sound coming from my car when im driving. It doesnt happen right away but comes after ive been driving for a while. It sounds like a faint squeeking noise almost. Or like a real prolonged beep that doesnt go away untill i slow down to like under 10mph or a stop. Earlier it would only make this noise when my steering wheel was locked in a position and when i moved it the sound would dissapeer. Does anyone have any ideas what this problem could be its incredibly annoying.

pretty much.....every integra i've seen has some type on new squeak....drives me fuggin' crazy......

faint squeeking sounds when you drive? What you need a is new car stereo... The Good Guys... j/k

prolonged beep or squeek, which would better describe it? If it was a prolonged beep it kinda sounds like wind noise. Try to drive around with a passenger sitting in different areas to try to pinpoint the source of the sound.

yeah, my teg started making squeking noises too and i know its from the exhuast but havent got around to fixing it yet....

 

try getting new brake pads

 

the sound could best be described as a cross between a harmonic hum and a squeel.......if that makes any sense at all . I usually just turn up the music but this noise really annoys me for some reason. I've slowly been learning to love my beautiful exhaust rattle (yeah right). I guess now im gonna put some noisemakers (I/H/E) on my car to over power these aggrivateing noises. At least its not just my teg . Thanks guys.

 

i bet you just got a new stereo system with an amp.
