Default what rods do i need for my new ctr pistons to work in my b16a1 block

heres the deal, i got me a set of new stock size ctr pistons w/rings, my stock b16a1 rods wont work, unless i take them to a shop to cut a little off the inside of the piston so they can be pressed in. what is another rod that will work w/out doing any work on the piston or rod. do they make b16b rods, and are they better then other aftermarket rods. i need to get my car up and running agian. can someone please help.

thanks all at honda-tech

GSR rods work, LS rods work too... Not sure if you'll be able to find B16B rods. Remember these rods will change your stroke and may cause issues. Best bet is machine the rods you have.

Rods do not change stroke. Only crankshaft can do that.
Also, any rod that is not a b18c rod will have the same issue that this guy is
currently having.

You can only use B16A rods. Take them to a machine shop and have the
pistons modified and pressed on. Thats what you are supposed to do.
