Default HELP!!! tranny went bad! must do b18b swap NOW!!

So my tranny went kaboom, which means i must accelerate my swap time to now. I got pretty much what i need, but i still need help.

my b18b needs the alternator installed(i need bolts), and i need a distributor (will a b16 one work? if not i'll buy new). i need to buy and install a t-belt and a-belt(90-93 or 94+ teg belts???), left side motor mount bracket, water pump, and finish the clutch(also needs bolts for the pressure plate). radiator hoses and a few other hoses from a 90-93 teg will be mine, as soon as i bug my friend to give them to me.

my ys1 is missing its mount. do the swap use the stock mount or is the hcp mount all i need???

as for axles, my friend is parting out his b16 crx. will the s1's intermediate shaft work? HASport says yes, but i dunno. and he had axle problems, but we think it was the poor swap or wrong mounts. and if the s1 i-shaft works, the 90-93 teg axles will work too?

and heres the other parts i got: 90-91 teg ecu, 90-93 teg injectors, clutch cable, throttle cable and bracket, and a few other things.

i have no car. i need a car. i need help. thanks alot.

edit!!! what starter do i use???

you can use your stock alt. and belt

t belt from 90-93/w-pump
engine side mount from 90-93
you need the rear tranny mount off of a 90-91 (not for sure on the years could use some from another but sure about these)
use 90-93 axles and remove the dust seal for proper fit
b series starter the rest of the parts you listed will work fine.

Look in the May SCC 2003, they did the complete swap into a 4gen civ. they have pics of what you need as well

PS if you have a DX/STD you gonna have to go from DPFI to MPFI....

good luck

I'll try my best to address all your questions. First the belts, you could use either the 90-93 or the 94-up timing and alternator belts. It's generally a safer bet to go with the same year, but either should work. What mount is missing from the tranny? If it's the front one, no problem, you won't need it. The S1 intermediate shaft will work the motor and the 90-93 axles. Lastly, as for the distributor, I'm not sure if the 90-91 teg one fits, but I know that the B16 one will get you by. I think only the top bolt works though. HTH.
