Steps 5 and 6:
When I check them am I supposed to have battery voltage? I checked and I had none so if I assume that there is supposed to be voltage, all tests weren't normal...in which case, I don't need to replace the igniter unit as stated in Step 7.

I mean, they've got all that space to say what the results should be just like they did for steps 3 and 4 but they didn't use it. I'm kidding. I guess this is why I'm not an automotive mechanic.

BTW, there was voltage in Steps 3 and 4.

I really need to figure out (within an hour or two if possible) if it's the igniter unit or coil that is messed up. The coil's secondary winding resistance is out of spec but everyone including a guy at the dealerships parts department says it's usually the igniter. Any help in figuring this out would be very appreciated.
