i went to L.A Cycle Sports today and bout my 2002 hondaCBR600 F4i with 1800 miles on it and a full Youshimura exhaust. they gave me a good deal on a pair of Alpine star SMX-4 gloves and a KBC wolf helmet and a a jacket (intersport fashion west) got it all for 7500 out the door and then got the 2 year warranty for 300 bucks

Thats a nice bike.Has it ever been laid down?I have an 01 r6 but selling it at the end of this season.I am going to upgrade to an 03 r6.

never was laid down

 

First, congrats on the new bike!

Second, I don't mean to come off like a *****, but why didn't you go for the 600RR? I know of a couple of people who got the 600RR for less than $8k OTD from LA Cycle. I think the diff between the two bikes are like night and day. Regardless, you made the best choice by getting a Honda.

well my original plan was to get an RR...but they were all out of 600s...so i started to look at the 2003 F4i's and those were 7800 O.T.D then then i asked f they had any clean used bikes and he showed me this one....the way i see it is...the rr would have cost 8k plus a helmet, jacket, and gloves and then the full Youshimura exhaust thats about an extra 1800 bucks....meaning it would have cost almost
10k....now i got all that stuff for 7500 O.T.D....i thought it was a good deal

its actually a licensed honda jacket but its made by that company....i dont think i got a good deal considering im in LA

Oh, I thought agv/prexport made the honda stuff. Maybe it's just the HR suits. Polish up that yosh and post up some pics

 

The Yosh is a great exhaust, but it's not supposed to be on a Honda. Leave it for the Zuk guys.
